THE LOW OF THE LOW......LAKERS DEFEATED BY STRUGGLING GRIZZLIES

The Los Angeles Lakers continue to dig themselves into a hole which will become more difficult to climb out of as the NBA season shifts into its final quarter of games. Last night, once again the Lakers fell to a team under .500 on the road as the Memphis Grizzlies defeated them 110-105.  The Lakers are now two games under .500, in danger of missing the postseason after a much heralded summer of expectations led by LeBron James’ arrival.

The 2018-19 renaissance of the Brooklyn Net franchise continued it’s momentum last night in Charlotte as the Nets outlasted the Hornets 117-115. This was a key matchup as entering the game, the Hornets were only 1 game back of the Nets for the 6th seed in the Eastern Conference playoff hierarchy.

LeBron James made waves earlier this week when he stated his playoff level intensity had been “activated”. James’ headline grabbing statement was in response to questions on the Lakers’ ability to earn a postseason berth while being 3 games behind the Clippers for the final playoff spot.

IT is officially time to panic for L.A. Laker fans (if they haven't already 😨) The struggles continue for the Los Angeles Lakers in Lebron’s first season. They dropped a contest to the lowly Hawks (19-38) in Atlanta Monday night 117-113. Trae Young and John Collins led the way for the Hawks with 22 points apiece. Despite LeBron James recording a triple double (28 points, 11 rebounds, 16 assists), the Lakers still could not pull out the win.
